Kushinagar Police Arrests Fake Currency Dealer
The Kushinagar police arrested a man named Mustaqeem after an encounter near Bintolia village. Mustaqeem, who had a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head, was caught with fake currency notes worth Rs 30,000. The police also found Rs 10,000 in cash, a country-made pistol, and bullets. Mustaqeem has 8 serious cases registered against him, and 10 other gang members have already been arrested. Further investigation is ongoing.
Ghazipur Police Kills Wanted Criminal
In another incident, Mohammad Zahid, also known as Sonu, was killed in an encounter with a joint police team in Ghazipur. Zahid was wanted for the murders of two Railway Protection Force constables and had a bounty of Rs 100,000. During the encounter, Zahid was seriously injured and later died at a district hospital. The police recovered an illegal .32 caliber pistol, two empty cartridges, and a bag of illegal liquor. The other suspect involved managed to escape.
