KSRTC Launches Affordable Tour Packages for Students in Kerala
Kannur (Kerala) [India] September 17: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has introduced a new tour package for school and college students at a lower rate. This package includes three delicious meals and the entry fee for the place of visit.
The first trip was organized for the nature study trip of the NSS volunteers from Kunhimangalam Government Higher Secondary School in Kannur district. They visited Paithalmala Ezharakund Waterfall in Kannur district.
KSRTC Chief Traffic Operations North Zone V Manoj Kumar flagged off the first journey. Also present were KSRTC Budget Tourism Cell Kannur District Coordinator Tanseer KR, Kunhimangalam Government Higher Secondary School NSS Programme Officer Sindhu Patoli, and teacher Ramesh Pandyala.
KSRTC has been offering tour packages to the public at affordable rates. Student Bhoomika Anil welcomed the package, saying it is an excellent step by KSRTC and a gift for students.
KSRTC connects different parts of Kerala through its road network and is one of the oldest public transport systems in the country.
