Demands for Investigation

Vijayendra emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into the MUDA and Valmiki scams, asserting that the current government is deeply involved in corruption. He also highlighted issues faced by farmers and school children due to tolls on the state highway, seeking their relocation.

Government’s Response

Satish Jarkiholi dismissed claims of the government’s collapse, affirming Siddaramaiah’s position as CM. Siddaramaiah reiterated his commitment to his role, stating that he governs with the people’s blessings and will not resign.

MUDA Scam Allegations

The MUDA land scam involves allegations of illegal allotment of 14 sites to Siddaramaiah’s wife, Parvathi, worth Rs 56 crore. The Mysuru Lokayukta has initiated an investigation following a court order.
