New Delhi, India – On July 26, during the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas celebration, Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda criticized the opposition for politicizing the Agniveer Scheme and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Drass.

Agniveer Scheme

Addressing the gathering, Nadda emphasized that the Agniveer Scheme aims to incorporate more youth into the Indian Army, enhancing its fighting spirit. He stated, “We don’t do politics with the army of the nation because we favor country first.” He also highlighted the employment opportunities for Agniveers after their service, mentioning that state governments have been instructed to give them preferences in paramilitary forces, police services, and other sectors.

PM Modi’s Drass Visit

Nadda defended PM Modi’s visit to Drass, stating that it is not unusual for him to celebrate Diwali with soldiers. He recalled Modi’s visit to Drass in 1999 to motivate the troops. Nadda criticized the opposition for labeling the visit as political, questioning their nationalism and morality.

Allegations Against the Gandhi Family

Nadda also accused Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra of having connections with the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, which allegedly received funds from the Communist Party of China. He urged them to disclose their relations with the foundation and the Communist Party of China.
