The Indian stock market experienced a third consecutive day of decline on Wednesday. The Nifty 50 index opened at 24,378.15, dropping by 93.95 points or 0.38%, while the BSE Sensex index fell by 299 points to 79,921.13, a decrease of 0.37%. Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv were the top gainers in the Nifty 50 list, whereas Mahindra & Mahindra and Shriram Finance were the top losers.

Several major companies, including Hindustan Unilever, Pidilite Industries, Bajaj Finserv, TVS Motors, Bajaj Holdings, and SBI Life Insurance, are set to announce their financial results for the second quarter of FY25.
