Indian para-athlete Hokato Hotozhe Sema secured a bronze medal in the men’s shot put F57 final at the Paris Paralympics. Hokato’s best throw was 14.65 meters, marking his personal best. Iran’s Yashin Khosravi won gold with a throw of 15.96 meters, and Brazil’s Thiago Paulino dos Santos took silver with a throw of 15.06 meters.

Indian para-athlete Bhavanaben Chaudhary finished fifth in the women’s F46 javelin throw final with a best throw of 39.70 meters. Praveen Kumar won a gold medal in the men’s high jump T64 final with a record-breaking jump of 2.08 meters, setting a new Asian record. The USA’s Derek Loccident and Uzbekistan’s Temurbek Giyazov took silver and bronze, respectively.
