Home Mail Voting for Senior and Disabled Citizens in Mumbai
Starting November 13, senior citizens and disabled voters in Mumbai city district have the option to vote from home using postal voting. This initiative is available in ten assembly constituencies and will continue until November 16, 2024.
Participation Across Constituencies
In the Dharavi Assembly Constituency, 20 out of 21 senior citizens and 9 out of 12 disabled voters participated. Sion Koliwada saw 23 out of 28 senior citizens and 16 out of 27 disabled voters casting their votes from home.
Wadala had 229 out of 258 senior citizens and 22 out of 24 disabled voters participating. In Mahim, 558 out of 621 senior citizens and 23 out of 25 disabled voters voted by mail.
Worli reported 111 out of 121 senior citizens and 19 out of 20 disabled voters participating. Sewri had 201 out of 226 senior citizens and 32 out of 34 disabled voters voting from home.
Byculla saw 167 out of 190 senior citizens and 39 out of 42 disabled voters participating. Malabar Hill had 269 out of 286 senior citizens and 10 out of 11 disabled voters voting by mail.
In Mumbadevi, 103 out of 118 senior citizens and 11 out of 13 disabled voters participated. Colaba reported 241 out of 270 senior citizens and 6 out of 9 disabled voters voting from home.

Eligible voters filled out Form 12D and submitted it to the election decision officer to participate in home postal voting.
