Hezbollah Terrorists Eliminated in Israeli Airstrike in Southern Lebanon

In a recent military operation in southern Lebanon, two terrorists from Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Forces were neutralized by an Israeli drone strike. The terrorists, armed with an RPG missile and a rifle, had fired at Israeli troops from a building. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released footage of the strike on Tuesday.

During the operation, Israeli soldiers discovered and destroyed a weapons storage facility. This facility contained an underground tunnel shaft, numerous RPG missiles, mortar shells, military vests, and other combat equipment. In a separate mission, troops also dismantled a missile launcher with four missiles ready to target northern Israeli communities.

On Monday night, Israel targeted Hezbollah’s main naval base in Beirut. In retaliation, Hezbollah launched 20 missiles at northern and central Israel on Tuesday morning. Fortunately, all missiles were intercepted or landed in open areas. However, shrapnel from an intercepted missile caused damage in B’nei Brak, near Tel Aviv, and debris damaged a building and vehicles in Kibbutz Ma’agen Michael, near Haifa.

Following the Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023, Hezbollah, backed by Iran, has been consistently launching rockets and drones at northern Israeli communities. As a result, over 68,000 residents have been displaced. Hezbollah’s attacks have resulted in 59 fatalities. Despite United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, which prohibits Hezbollah’s operations in southern Lebanon, the group continues its activities.
