Haryana Police Arrests Notorious Criminal Rakesh and Takes Down Gang Members
The Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police has successfully arrested Rakesh, also known as Kala Khairmpuria, a notorious criminal facing multiple charges. According to the Haryana STF, Rakesh had been evading law enforcement since his release on parole in 2020. He fled the country in early 2023 using a fake passport and continued his criminal activities from abroad, forming alliances with local gangs and engaging in violent incidents. Rakesh had connections with infamous criminal groups like the Himanshu Bhau Gang and the Neeraj Faridpuria Gang.
In a related development, the Delhi Police Crime Branch, in collaboration with the Haryana STF, conducted a joint operation on Friday in the Kharkhoda area of Sonipat, Haryana. During this operation, three shooters associated with the Himanshu Bhau gang were gunned down. The shooters were identified as Ashish alias Lalu, Sunny Kharar, and Vicky Ridhana. Ashish and Vicky were involved in a previous shootout incident at a Burger King in Delhi. A Delhi Police officer was injured during the encounter but is reported to be safe.
