Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Votes and Predicts BJP Victory in Ladwa

On October 5, Haryana Chief Minister and BJP candidate from Ladwa, Nayab Singh Saini, participated in the voting process as the state elections commenced. He visited a temple to offer prayers before casting his vote in Ambala, proudly displaying his inked finger afterward.

Saini expressed confidence in BJP’s success, stating, “BJP is going to form its government for the third time with a huge margin on 8th October.” He encouraged the people of Haryana to vote, emphasizing the development achieved under PM Modi’s leadership over the past decade.

Criticizing the Congress party, Saini claimed their promises were not reliable and accused them of being anti-reservation and anti-poor. The elections are a significant contest, with BJP aiming for a third consecutive term, while Congress seeks to regain power amidst issues like farmer and wrestler protests.

Key parties in the fray include BJP, Congress, AAP, and alliances such as INLD-BSP and JJP-ASP. Voting began at 7 am and will continue until 6 pm, with 1,031 candidates contesting across 90 constituencies. The results will be announced on October 8, alongside those of Jammu and Kashmir.

In the 2019 elections, BJP won 40 seats and formed a coalition with JJP, which secured 10 seats. Congress won 31 seats, but the JJP later exited the coalition.
