Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini Prays at Kamakhya Temple
On Saturday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini visited the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati, Assam. He offered prayers and performed pooja, expressing his hopes for the well-being and development of Haryana and the entire country.
After the prayers, Saini said, “I pray to Maa Kamakhya for the well-being and development of the state and for India to move towards a Vikasit Bharat under the leadership of PM Modi. I have seen that Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma is working honestly to advance the state. I pray for his bright future as well.”
Saini also expressed confidence in the BJP’s victory in the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, stating, “After two months, Assembly elections are due in Haryana, in October. We will again form a double-engine government in the state under the leadership of PM Modi.”
Haryana is one of the eight states holding legislative assembly elections this year. The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will jointly contest the upcoming Haryana elections. In the 2019 Haryana Assembly polls, the BJP won 40 seats, the Congress won 31 seats, the JJP won 10 seats, and the INLD won 1 seat. The Haryana Assembly Elections 2024 are expected to take place on or before October 2024, as the current Assembly’s tenure ends on November 3 this year. The election schedule is yet to be announced.
