In Gujarat, heavy rains have caused severe flooding, especially in Valsad and Navsari districts. Rescue Operations
Vansda Police in Navsari district successfully rescued several tourists who were stranded in Vangan Village due to the overflowing Kaveri river. Visuals showed tourists being rescued by holding onto a rope.
In another operation, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) rescued seven fishermen stranded in Hinglaj village in Valsad district. Inspector Ramesh Kumar of the NDRF stated that the fishermen were trapped due to continuous rainfall and high tide in the Auranga River.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reviewed the situation through a phone call with the collectors of Valsad and Navsari districts. He instructed them to move people from low-lying areas to safer places and to manage the flood situation with vigilance.
