Gujarat’s Development Boost: CM Bhupendra Patel’s Initiatives
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is focusing on improving the quality of life in the state’s cities through the Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana. He has approved Rs 1664 crore for 502 development projects in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Gandhinagar. Surat’s Traffic Solutions
In Surat, Rs 380 crore is approved for six flyover bridges to ease traffic congestion. These include projects on Surat-Kamraj Road, Shyamdham Mandir Junction, and more.
Ahmedabad and Vadodara Developments
Ahmedabad will see Rs 316 crore for 46 projects, including drainage and road improvements. Vadodara receives Rs 68.04 crore for 50 projects and Rs 755.96 crore for 370 infrastructure projects.
Gandhinagar’s Infrastructure Enhancements
Gandhinagar is allocated Rs 144.43 crore for 22 projects, focusing on beautification and public space enhancements. This includes the Swarnim Cultural Center and support for Anganwadis and health centers.
Overall State Development
From 2021 to 2025, the state government has allocated Rs 12,122 crore for infrastructural development, including metropolitan and outgrowth areas, and flyover bridges.
