Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant lauded the Union Budget for its focus on various sectors, calling it a ‘pro budget’ for villages, the poor, and the industrial sector. The budget also includes plans to create employment for about 4.1 crore youth over the next five years, with an allocation of Rs 2 lakh crore. Additionally, Rs 1.48 crore has been proposed for skilling 20 lakh youth over five years, and 1,000 industrial training institutes will be upgraded.
