Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], July 31: Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani announced a contribution of Rs 5 crore to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund. This pledge aims to support the state of Kerala, particularly the hilly region of Wayanad, which has been severely affected by landslides triggered by heavy rains.

Earlier today, the Indian Army intensified its rescue operations, successfully evacuating over 1,000 people from the affected areas. The Army’s Southern Command reported that up to 1,000 personnel have been rescued using man-made bridges and human effort.
