Gautam Adani Highlights Record-Breaking Achievements of Adani Group in 2023

At the Annual General Meeting of Adani Enterprises, Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group, shared that despite a challenging year, the company performed exceptionally well. In 2023, Adani Group made record-breaking achievements and executed large-scale projects.

Adani stated, “Our record-breaking achievements in 2023 underscore our alignment to national priorities as well as our ability to execute the most complex, large-scale projects with unmatched expertise.” He mentioned that the Adani Group companies achieved their highest EBITDA of Rs 82,917 crore, approximately USD 10 billion, marking a 45% increase.

The group also reached an all-time-high liquidity level with a cash balance of Rs 59,791 crore. Adani highlighted the world’s largest renewable energy installation in Khavda, which now generates 3,000 MW of clean energy. The company aims to develop a 30 GW capacity in the next five years.

Adani Green Energy revised its FY 2029-30 target from 45 GW to 50 GW, adding 2.8 GW this year, which is 15% of India’s total renewable capacity. Addressing the Hindenburg controversy, Adani said the Supreme Court vindicated the company, proving that no challenge can weaken their foundations.

Adani also commented on India’s economic growth, predicting it will become a USD 10 trillion economy by 2032. He stated, “This is India’s moment, the world is witnessing the rise of India. We are now the force for stability, cooperation, and progress in a complex world.”
