New York [US], September 25: Former US Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster has commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to the United States, describing it as ‘very positive.’ Speaking on Wednesday, Juster highlighted the depth and breadth of the US-India relationship, emphasizing new initiatives in critical and emerging technologies, clean energy, healthcare, and defense.

Juster remarked, ‘This is just another very important step in the building of the strength of the US-India relationship that has gone on now for the last 25 years, with each administration building on the successes of its predecessors.’

PM Modi returned to Delhi on Tuesday after a ‘very intense and successful’ three-day visit to the US. During his visit, he attended the Quad Leaders Summit in Delaware, addressed the Indian American community at the Nassau Coliseum in New York, and spoke at the UN’s Summit of the Future.

PM Modi engaged in bilateral discussions with world leaders and held a roundtable with CEOs from leading American tech companies. He shared highlights of his visit, stating it was ‘fruitful,’ covered diverse programs, and focused on making the planet better.

In a post on X, PM Modi said, ‘This has been a fruitful USA visit, covering diverse programmes and focusing on a series of subjects aimed at making our planet better. Here are the highlights.’

PM Modi also shared a moment when President Biden, answering a question about the Quad’s future, said it would last ‘Way beyond November’ and warmly gestured towards PM Modi. The video included PM Modi’s remarks at the Quad Moonshot Initiative, where he announced India’s contribution of USD 7.5 million for sampling kits, detection kits, and vaccines.

The video also showed the Indian diaspora event, with the gathering cheering and waving at PM Modi. He spoke of the ‘golden opportunity’ India offers during his interaction with important business leaders from the US.
