Former President Donald Trump Shot at Pennsylvania Rally, FBI Investigates

Washington, DC [US], July 14 – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is leading the investigation into a shooting incident at former US President Donald Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The FBI Pittsburgh Field Office responded immediately with special agents, crisis response team members, and evidence response technicians.

The FBI has asked anyone with information about the incident to call their tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI. The US Secret Service reported that one spectator was killed and another critically injured. The shooter was neutralized and is now dead.

Donald Trump was on stage when the gunshots rang out. Secret Service agents quickly surrounded him and escorted him off the stage. Trump later said the bullet pierced the upper part of his ear. He expressed gratitude to law enforcement and offered condolences to the victims’ families.

Trump’s campaign advisers, Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, stated that Trump is doing well and looks forward to attending the Republican convention in Milwaukee. President Joe Biden condemned the attack, calling for unity to prevent such violence.
