Renowned folk singer Sharda Sinha, celebrated for her songs in Maithili, Bhojpuri, and Magahi languages, is currently stable but remains under constant monitoring at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. Dr. Rima Dada, a professor at AIIMS, confirmed that Sinha is hemodynamically stable, meaning her blood pressure and heart rate are stable.

Sharda Sinha has been battling multiple myeloma since 2018. She was admitted to AIIMS on October 21. Sinha is a recipient of the Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian award, which she received in 2018 on the occasion of the 69th Republic Day. Her Maithili version of the Chhath Puja-themed song ‘Ho Dinanath’ is widely appreciated.
