In Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah condemned a recent terror attack in Gagangir. He urged Pakistan’s leadership to stop terrorism for better relations with India, allowing the people of Jammu and Kashmir to live with dignity. Abdullah stated, “Kashmir Pakistan nahi Banega,” emphasizing that creating a Pakistan in Kashmir is impossible. He highlighted the severe consequences of continued terrorism and questioned the terrorists’ motives, noting the loss of innocent lives, including poor laborers and a doctor.

Following the attack, a National Investigation Agency team arrived in Jammu and Kashmir to investigate. The attack resulted in the deaths of a doctor and six construction workers when terrorists opened fire at a construction site. Security forces have since cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to find the attackers.
