The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has conducted search operations at 44 locations across several states in India, including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand. These raids are part of an investigation into Pearl Agro Corporation Limited (PACL) and its group under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.

During these operations, the ED recovered and seized various incriminating documents. The ED’s Delhi Zonal office led the search operations, which took place on October 4, 2024. The agency shared this information in a post on X.

Earlier, the ED had also conducted raids in Kolkata, Punjab, Delhi, and Mumbai as part of a chit fund case investigation. This extensive operation targeted over two dozen locations and is linked to ongoing money laundering activities.
