Diwali Celebrations in Uri with Indian Army

In the Baramulla sector of Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army celebrated Diwali with the local villagers in Uri. The celebration included lighting diyas, exchanging gifts, and sharing sweets. Both the soldiers and villagers exchanged best wishes for the occasion. A villager expressed gratitude, mentioning that the army celebrates all festivals with them, including Eid, and supports them during any difficulties.

Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple’s Diwali Festivities

In Gandhinagar, Gujarat, the Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple is set to be illuminated with 10,000 diyas for Diwali. A 55-foot idol of Bhagwan Swaminarayan will be installed, with its Pranpratishtha ceremony scheduled for November 11. Jayesh Mandanka, a temple volunteer, shared that this tradition has been ongoing for 32 years, with the temple beautifully decorated every Diwali.
