Dilip Jaiswal Begins Work as New Bihar BJP Chief
Patna (Bihar) [India], July 27: Dilip Jaiswal, the newly-appointed Bihar BJP chief, has started his work and is heading to Delhi to discuss future strategies. He expressed confidence that the ruling NDA alliance, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will prepare effectively for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
Jaiswal, who is also a Bihar minister, said, “I have started my work and now I am going to Delhi to strategize for the future. Under CM Nitish Kumar and PM Modi’s leadership, we will begin preparations for the 2025 state Assembly elections.”
He believes the opposition Mahagathbandhan will not be able to compete with the NDA in the upcoming elections. “About the Assembly elections, I can tell you that Mahagathbandhan will not be able to stand before the NDA. In the leadership of Nitish Kumar, we will form a majority government in 2025,” Jaiswal stated.
Jaiswal also commented on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), saying, “People know the face and character of RJD… If they had loved Yadavs, they would have brought more intelligent people than Tejashwi Yadav.”
He thanked the party leadership for appointing him as Bihar BJP chief and acknowledged the contributions of previous leaders like the late Sushil Modi, Sanjay Jaiswal, Samrat Choudhary, and Nityanand Rai.
Dilip Jaiswal was appointed Bihar chief of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday, replacing Samrat Chaudhary, who is Bihar Deputy Chief Minister. Jaiswal is the Revenue Land Reforms Minister in Bihar and hails from Khagaria district. The assembly elections in Bihar are likely to be held in October-November 2025.
