Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak Visits Injured After Unnao Bus Accident

A tragic accident occurred in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, when a double-decker bus collided with a milk tanker, resulting in 18 deaths and over 30 injuries. The accident took place at 5:15 am on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway.

Deputy CM’s Visit

State Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak visited the injured at the hospital and assured them of proper treatment. He mentioned that most of the injured are from Bihar and that the Uttar Pradesh government is in contact with Bihar officials.

Chief Minister’s Response

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and instructed the district administration to ensure the injured receive proper treatment. He also wished for their speedy recovery.

Accident Details

The double-decker sleeper bus was traveling from Motihari, Bihar, to Delhi when it hit the milk tanker from behind near Gadha Village in the Behtamujawar Police Station area. Police led by Circle Officer of Bangarmau, Arvind Chaurasia, rushed to the spot and began rescue operations.
