Delhi Music Producer Amandeep Batra Receives Extortion Call from Lawrence Bishnoi Gang
Amandeep Batra, a 39-year-old music producer living in Greater Kailash, Delhi, reported receiving an extortion call demanding Rs 5 crore. The caller identified himself as a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldi Brar Gang and threatened to send goons to harm Batra if the money wasn’t paid.
Batra received the call from a number starting with +351. He immediately contacted the police by dialing 112 and filed a First Information Report (FIR). Batra suspects that his ex-wife’s boyfriend, who is close to Lawrence Bishnoi, is behind the threats. He mentioned that his ex-wife’s boyfriend often tortures him by showing photographs of his son and ex-wife.
The Delhi Police have registered a case under Section 308(4) BNS at the Greater Kailash Police Station and are currently investigating the matter.
