Deepak Babaria, the AICC in-charge of Haryana, stated that anyone with the support of the Congress High Command and MLAs can become the Chief Minister. He emphasized that over 60% of the work for the 2024 elections in Haryana is already complete. A Central Election Committee meeting is scheduled for September 2.

Meanwhile, BJP leaders, including Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, met with BJP Haryana Assembly election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan to discuss their election strategies. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President JP Nadda, with other key leaders in attendance.

Voting for Haryana’s 90 Assembly seats will take place on October 1, with results announced on October 4. Additionally, the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and Chandra Shekhar Azad’s Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) have announced an alliance, with JJP contesting 70 seats and ASP 20 seats.
