England’s talented cricketer, Danni Wyatt, is set to play for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season. This move comes after a successful trade from UP Warriorz, where she was initially acquired for INR 30 lakhs. Wyatt, known for her aggressive batting style, has played 164 T20 Internationals for England, making her the third-most capped player in this format. Only Harmanpreet Kaur and Suzie Bates have more appearances.

RCB captain Smriti Mandhana expressed her excitement about Wyatt joining the team, highlighting her game-changing abilities and competitive spirit. Wyatt has scored 2,979 runs in T20Is, with an average of 22.91 and a strike rate of 127.85, including two centuries and 16 half-centuries. Recently, she was in excellent form, leading England’s scoring with 151 runs at an average of 50.33.

Despite not being picked in the first WPL auction, Wyatt was acquired by UP Warriorz for the second season but did not play any matches. Currently, she is playing for the Hobart Hurricanes in the Women’s Big Bash League in Australia.
