The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Cyberabad Police took action against 12 transgenders for causing a public disturbance in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad. The arrests occurred on a Saturday night during surprise raids conducted by police teams in the area, which falls under the jurisdiction of Gachibowli Police Station.
Operation Details
Under the guidance of DCP K. Srujana from the Women & Children Safety Wing, the AHTU formed four special teams to carry out the operation. Inspector James Babu led the teams in conducting the raids on November 16, 2024, at around 9:00 PM.

The individuals were apprehended for actions such as exposing their bodies, singing, and making gestures to attract public attention, which led to a public nuisance.
