In the village of Pakherpora, Budgam, located in Jammu and Kashmir, a road accident involving a CRPF vehicle resulted in injuries to several jawans. The incident occurred when the vehicle veered into a canal near a police post.

A local witness described the scene, stating, “At around 10-10:30 am, a car came and fell in this canal. There was a police station here. There were about 20 people here. They all are in critical and serious state and have been referred to Srinagar’s hospital.”

This location has experienced similar accidents at least five times before, leading locals to demand the installation of safety barricades to prevent future incidents.

Authorities are currently investigating the accident to determine the cause and prevent further occurrences.
