CM Dhami Supports BJP Candidate Darshan Singh in Jammu and Kashmir
On September 20, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Basantpur in Jammu and Kashmir to support BJP candidate Darshan Singh. During his speech, CM Dhami emphasized the importance of voting for Darshan Singh to ensure a ‘double-engine government’ for peace and prosperity in the region.
He highlighted the progress India has made under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, including becoming the world’s fifth-largest economy and the historic abolition of Article 370. CM Dhami also mentioned various development schemes in Jammu and Kashmir, such as providing houses for poor families and free rations for 72 lakh people.
He criticized opposition parties like Congress, PDP, and the National Conference for promoting corruption and separatism. He urged the people to support BJP for continued development and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.
The elections for the 90-member assembly in Jammu and Kashmir are being held in three phases, with the final counting on October 8.
