In Muzaffarabad, Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), a coalition of civil society groups has issued a strong warning to the authorities. They demand that commitments be fulfilled within six months, as reported by Dawn. This warning was made during a meeting of the Jammu Kashmir Joint Action Committee's (JKJAAC) core committee in Chakswari, Mirpur district.
The committee discussed several issues, including delays in the Rathoa-Haryam Bridge construction, failure to reduce property transfer tax rates, power outages, low voltage problems, and inadequate wheat flour supply. These issues have caused significant hardships for PoJK residents.
The JKJAAC emphasized the need for the government to address these problems promptly to avoid public backlash. They also announced a strict code of conduct, preventing members from attending events organized by other groups without approval, to maintain unity.
The coalition assured local and overseas Kashmiris that future actions would consider their interests, working towards the community's aspirations with trust and support.
