Chirag Paswan Hopes for BJP Victory in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir Elections
As the vote counting for the Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir Assembly elections began, Union Minister Chirag Paswan expressed optimism for a BJP win. He stated, “The BJP has worked hard in Jammu-Kashmir and Haryana and the public trusts BJP and PM Modi.”
Meanwhile, the Congress party celebrated with music and dance, confident in their success. Congress workers attributed their optimism to Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and Nyay Yatra, which focus on supporting farmers, women, and laborers, and promoting inclusivity.
Jagdish Sharma, a Congress worker, expressed that the entire country is congratulating them, claiming it as a victory over lies. He emphasized the popularity of Rahul Gandhi’s initiatives and declared that the time is up for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.
In Jammu, TS Tony, a Congress candidate, stated that the Congress-NC alliance is poised to form the government with a two-thirds majority. He criticized the BJP for turning the city of temples into a city of liquors and accused them of undermining democracy.
The Jammu & Kashmir assembly election took place over three phases in September, while polling for Haryana’s 90 seats concluded on October 5.
