On September 24, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke at an election rally in Panchkula, Haryana, to support BJP candidate Gyan Chand Gupta. He praised the BJP government’s achievements over the past 10 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Development in Haryana

CM Dhami emphasized that Haryana has become one of the rapidly developing states. He highlighted the improvements in internet connectivity, road infrastructure, and the construction of elevated roads, flyovers, and underpasses.

Enhanced Connectivity

He mentioned the ongoing work on major express corridors like the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, Ambala Mandi Express Corridor, and Amritsar-Bhatinda-Jamnagar Expressway. The introduction of two Vande Bharat trains has further improved connectivity in the state.

Electricity and Medical Education

CM Dhami noted that the BJP government has ensured 24-hour electricity in hundreds of villages and increased MBBS seats in medical colleges. Fifteen new medical colleges have been established in the state.

Good Governance and Farmer Support

He claimed that the BJP has taken significant steps towards good governance by reducing corruption. The government has increased the number of crops eligible for Minimum Support Price (MSP) from eight to more than 24, benefiting farmers and increasing their income.

Upcoming Elections

The 90-member legislative assembly election in Haryana is scheduled for October 5, with vote counting on October 8, along with Jammu and Kashmir.
