Raipur, Chhattisgarh – On Friday, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai flagged off 15 new interceptor vehicles at the CM House in Raipur. These vehicles are designed to prevent road accidents and are equipped with advanced technology.

Modern Features

The interceptor vehicles come with speed radar guns, breath analyzers, and 360-degree rotating cameras. They can check the speed and sound of vehicles from 500 meters away and monitor the transparency of vehicle glass.

Deployment and Training

CM Sai announced that the 15 vehicles will be deployed across 15 districts. Four police personnel will be assigned to each vehicle, and they have been trained to use the new technology. A WhatsApp group has been created to resolve any technical issues quickly.

Official Statements

CM Sai stated, “Today is a historic day. These vehicles will help reduce road accidents by taking action against overspeeding and drunk driving.” Traffic AIG Sanjay Sharma added, “These vehicles are equipped with advanced facilities and will soon be provided to other districts.”

The Chief Minister also urged the public to follow traffic rules to ensure safety on the roads.
