The FBI and state officials are investigating these threats. In West Chester, a building housing polling services was evacuated, and voters were redirected to other locations. Similar threats were reported in Arizona and Georgia, with officials suspecting a Russian link.

In Georgia, Police Chief Wade Yates reported that 32 polling locations were temporarily closed. Despite these disruptions, early polling results show Republican nominee Donald Trump leading Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, with Trump at 172 electoral college votes and Harris at 81 votes.

West Chester resident Matt Smitreski recounted being turned away due to the bomb threat. He was advised to wait for further instructions on when voting would resume.
