Bodies Found in Bhopal’s Upper Lake: Police Investigate

Two bodies were found floating in Bada Talab (Upper Lake) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday morning. The police, alerted by locals, recovered the bodies with the help of divers.

Discovery and Recovery

Locals on a morning walk informed the police about an abandoned two-wheeler and the bodies in the lake. Jagdish Parmar, ASI of Shyamala Hills Police Station, stated that two pairs of slippers and a dupatta were also found at the scene.

Identification and Investigation

The two-wheeler was registered to Dashrath Sahu from Vishwakarma Nagar Bagsewaniya, Bhopal. The bodies, one male and one female, were sent to Hamidia Hospital for examination. Further investigation is ongoing.

Diver’s Account

Diver Asif, who helped recover the bodies, mentioned that they were informed by the Shyamala Hills Police Station and promptly retrieved the bodies from the lake.
