G Kishan Reddy Praises BJP’s Performance

In the recent Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, BJP leader G Kishan Reddy expressed his satisfaction with the party’s performance, calling it a “moral success.” He highlighted the BJP’s strong showing in the Jammu region, where the party achieved a 95% success rate. When questioned about a potential alliance with the National Conference, Reddy stated that no decision has been made yet, leaving it to the state party to decide. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also praised the BJP’s performance, thanking voters and party workers for their efforts. He assured continued work for the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir.

The BJP secured 29 seats, while the Congress-National Conference alliance won 49 out of 90 seats, enough to form the government. The elections, held in three phases, were the first since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.
