BJP’s Membership Drive Reaches 10 Crore Milestone

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has achieved a significant milestone with its membership reaching 10 crores. The party aims to surpass its previous high of 11 crore members. The current membership drive began on October 11 and will continue until the end of October, followed by a scrutiny period from November 1 to 5. Members will receive certificates after donating Rs 100 and having 50 members under their assembly.

Transition to Physical Enrollment

The membership process now emphasizes physical enrollment at the Mandal level, moving away from online membership. A workshop led by BJP national president JP Nadda is being organized to facilitate this campaign. This effort will lead to elections at various levels, culminating in the election of the national president in January.

Organizational Elections and Strategies

The BJP will hold a crucial meeting to discuss the election of party leaders across various levels. The workshop will focus on empowering leaders with tools and strategies for effective election management and strengthening the party’s internal framework. Attendees will include Central Election Committee office bearers, state election office bearers, national office bearers, state presidents, and organization secretaries.

Innovative Engagement Programs

The BJP Minority Morcha has launched an “Audio Bridge” program to connect 26,000 Modi Mitra (influencers) simultaneously. This initiative helps influencers understand the party’s vision and connect with their communities to boost membership. The program is a collaborative effort between Modi Mitra and the Sufi Samvad’s Sufi saints.

Successful Membership Campaign

On September 2, the BJP launched the Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders enrolled as primary members. On the first day, 47 lakh memberships were registered. In the first phase, from September 2 to September 25, 6 crore members were registered. Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh each registered over 1 crore members, while Gujarat and Assam enrolled 85 lakh and 50 lakh members, respectively. Smaller states like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, and Tripura also showed good momentum in member enrollment.
