New Delhi, India – July 5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Gourav Vallabh criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), suggesting it should be renamed to DPP or Daru Premi Party due to its alleged fondness for liquor. Vallabh pointed out that both the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister are in jail on charges related to a liquor scam. He also mentioned an incident where Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was allegedly too drunk to fly from Frankfurt Airport.

Vallabh questioned the Congress party’s support for AAP despite their initial opposition to the liquor policy and their role in lodging the first case against AAP. He also highlighted the alliance between Congress and AAP in Delhi during the Lok Sabha polls, which resulted in BJP winning all seven seats.

Addressing the recent stampede in Hathras, Vallabh assured that none of the accused would be spared, regardless of their connections. He compared this incident to the largest stampede in Maharashtra’s Mandhardevi in 2005, which occurred under Congress rule. Vallabh noted that there were 1179 stampede cases from 2010 to 2014 during Congress’s regime, compared to 51 cases from 2019 to 2024 under BJP’s rule, emphasizing the need to reduce these numbers to zero.
