BJP’s CR Kesavan Criticizes Congress Leader Irfan Ansari

On Sunday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Spokesperson CR Kesavan criticized Congress leader Irfan Ansari for his derogatory remarks against BJP leader Sita Soren. Kesavan questioned why Ansari has not been removed from the Congress party yet.

Kesavan’s Statement

In a self-made video, Kesavan described Ansari’s comments as “unforgivable, indefensible, and extremely deplorable.” He stated that the remarks were an insult to the tribal community and women of Jharkhand.

Response from Sita Soren

Sita Soren, shocked by the comments, questioned Ansari’s audacity and reported the incident to the Election Commission. She emphasized that the tribal community is angry and will not forgive Ansari.

Legal Action

Neha Arora, the state’s Additional Chief Electoral Officer, confirmed that an FIR has been registered against Ansari for allegedly making derogatory remarks. A case of Model Code of Conduct violation has been filed in Jamtara district.
