BJP MP Mukesh Dalal Defends Yogi Adityanath’s Slogan Amid Controversy

In Surat, Gujarat, BJP MP Mukesh Dalal has come forward to defend Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s slogan “batenge toh katenge” which translates to “divided we perish.” This slogan has sparked controversy, but MP Dalal argues that the INDIA bloc has been responsible for dividing Sanatana Dharma and emphasizes the need for unity.

MP Dalal stated, “This slogan is resonating across the country. The INDIA Alliance divided Sanatana Dharma in the last elections. We were seeking votes in the name of development, but they divided Sanatana Dharma. Even today, in Maharashtra, members of one community are making deals with INDI Alliance leaders, who are conceding to their demands. This highlights the importance of Sanatana Dharma unity.”

Yogi Adityanath introduced the slogan during a campaign rally in Maharashtra, and it was followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan “ek hai toh safe hai,” meaning “if united, we are safe.” BJP leader Kirit Somaiya also defended these remarks, expressing concerns about the increasing number of Rohingya and Bangladeshi infiltrators in Mumbai, which he claims could reduce the Hindu population to 54 percent. He cited a report from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences to support his claims.
