BJP MP Manoj Tiwari Comments on ED Raids at AAP MP Sanjeev Arora’s Residence

In New Delhi, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari stated that the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) does not target individuals based on their identity, suggesting that an economic crime might have occurred following the ED’s search at AAP MP Sanjeev Arora’s home. Tiwari questioned why Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders are often linked to economic crimes, expressing concern over corruption.

AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora confirmed the ED’s search and pledged full cooperation, though he was unsure of the reasons behind the operation. Meanwhile, AAP leader Sanjay Singh criticized the search, accusing the BJP of fabricating cases against AAP. Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu supported the ED’s actions, describing it as a ‘Swachh Bharat’ initiative to clean up corruption.

Bittu highlighted the alleged corruption within AAP, mentioning leaders like Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, who have faced legal challenges. He questioned AAP’s moral stance in defending their MP amidst these allegations.
