BJP MP Anil Bonde’s Controversial Remarks on Rahul Gandhi

Amaravati (Maharashtra) [India], September 18: BJP MP Anil Bonde made a statement on Wednesday suggesting that Rahul Gandhi’s tongue should be given a ‘chatka’ instead of being cut off. This followed Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad’s offer of Rs 11 lakh to anyone who cut off Gandhi’s tongue.

Bonde said, “An MLA from Maharashtra has said that Rahul Gandhi’s tongue should be cut off, which is wrong because I don’t support violence. However, his tongue must be given ‘chatka’.”

Bonde accused Gandhi of committing a serious crime against India by making contradictory statements about reservations. He claimed Gandhi was trying to appease minorities, particularly Muslims and Christians.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Ajay Maken lodged a complaint against BJP leaders, including Gaikwad and Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu, who called Gandhi the ‘number one terrorist of the country.’ Maken argued that these statements incited violence and disturbed public peace.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge wrote a letter to Prime Minister Modi, urging strict action against NDA leaders.
