New Delhi, India – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to repeat his comments about Sikhs in India, which he made during his visit to Virginia, USA. BJP leader RP Singh criticized Gandhi, stating that 3000 Sikhs were massacred in Delhi when Congress was in power. Singh challenged Gandhi to repeat his statements in India, promising to file a case against him.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also criticized Gandhi, reminding him of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who never maligned India’s image while abroad. Chouhan accused Gandhi of trying to harm India’s reputation due to his anti-BJP sentiments.

BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal accused Gandhi of creating a false narrative of fear in India, stating that only those involved in corruption are scared. He claimed that Gandhi’s statements were misleading and irresponsible.

BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari said that the Congress party is scared because their lies are being exposed. He accused Gandhi of enjoying India’s harm and supporting China.

Meanwhile, TMC MP Shatrughan Sinha supported Gandhi’s remarks on unemployment, stating that BJP always has problems with Gandhi’s statements.

During his visit to the US, Gandhi claimed that the fight is about whether Sikhs can wear turbans and visit Gurdwaras in India. He also stated that the fear of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had vanished after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Gandhi interacted with students and teachers at the University of Texas and addressed the Indian diaspora in Dallas and Virginia.
