The Ayushman Bharat Yojana will provide free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh, with an additional Rs 5 lakh cover for low-income households.
Senior citizens will benefit from free OPD and diagnostic services for those aged 70 and above, a Rs 10 lakh health cover, and an increased pension from Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 for those aged 60-70.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) criticized the BJP's promises, claiming they mimic Arvind Kejriwal's governance model. AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal stated that BJP acknowledges the success of AAP's welfare schemes. Manish Sisodia emphasized that tax money should benefit the public, not just those in power.
