BJP Launches Nationwide Membership Drive Led by PM Modi

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is set to launch a nationwide membership drive called Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024 on September 2. The campaign will be inaugurated in New Delhi and will be overseen by a national team led by Vinod Tawde, the National General Secretary.

Campaign Details

The membership drive will be conducted in two phases: from September 2 to September 25 and from October 1 to October 15. The drive will include door-to-door outreach and larger public activities, ensuring comprehensive participation across the country. Membership can be obtained through missed calls, the NaMo App, QR codes, and traditional forms.

Workshops and Meetings

State workshops were held from August 19 to 21, district workshops from August 22 to 24, and Mandal workshops from August 25 to 27. A meeting of Page Pramukhs will be held on August 31 to prepare for the campaign. The campaign will be inaugurated in all states on September 3 or 4 and in districts on September 5 or 6.

Key Figures

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda have been actively involved in the campaign. The national team includes co-convenors Rekha Verma, Dushyant Gautam, Atul Garg, and D Purandeswari, along with other key members like Rituraj Sinha, Arvind Menon, Vijaya Rahatkar, and Rajdeep Roy.

Goals and Vision

The BJP aims to expand its base and strengthen its position in Indian politics through this membership drive. The party has historically formed the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the Centre for three consecutive terms under PM Modi’s leadership. The guiding principle of ‘Seva hi Sangathan’ (Service is Organization) continues to inspire party workers to fulfill their political and social duties with dedication.
