BJP Celebrates Third Win in Haryana Assembly Elections

In Jaipur, Rajasthan, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers celebrated as the party took leads in the Haryana Assembly polls. The celebrations included making jalebis and bursting firecrackers outside the party office, marking BJP’s third consecutive victory in Haryana.

The elections for the 90 Assembly seats in Haryana were held on October 5. Despite exit polls predicting a clear majority for Congress, the latest Election Commission of India (ECI) data at 5:00 pm showed BJP winning 29 seats and leading in 20, while Congress secured 28 seats and was leading in 8. Two independent candidates also won seats.

In Jind, Haryana, BJP workers celebrated Krishan Middha’s victory in the constituency. Middha won by 15,860 votes, defeating Congress’s Mahavir Gupta.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini won from the Ladwa Assembly constituency with a margin of 16,054 votes, defeating Congress’s Mewa Singh and independent candidate Vikramjeet Singh Cheema. Saini thanked the 2.80 crore people of Haryana and attributed the victory to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
