Baramulla Attack: Indian Army Soldiers and Porters Killed in Terrorist Attack
In Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, search operations continued on Friday morning after a violent encounter between the Indian Army and terrorists the previous night. The attack resulted in the deaths of two Indian Army soldiers and two civilian porters. Additionally, one soldier and one porter were injured and are currently receiving medical treatment, according to Indian Army officials.
The Srinagar-based Chinar Corps initially reported on social media that a brief firefight occurred in the Butapathri area of Baramulla, leading to injuries among soldiers and porters who were then evacuated for medical care. The operation is still ongoing.
On the same day, in a separate incident, a labourer named Pritam Singh from Uttar Pradesh was shot and injured by terrorists in the Batgund Tral area of Pulwama district.
Earlier, on October 20, a tragic attack by terrorists at a tunnel construction site on the Srinagar-Leh national highway in the Ganderbal district resulted in the deaths of a doctor and six construction workers.
