Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari Leads Maintenance Command Conclave in Nagpur

The Maintenance Command Commanders Conclave was held at Vayusena Nagar, Nagpur from August 30-31, 2024. The Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, presided over the conference on Friday. He was welcomed by Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command, and received a Ceremonial Guard of Honour.

The conclave served as a platform to review the command’s enhanced capabilities through indigenisation. Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari praised the Maintenance Command for its efforts towards indigenisation and its alignment with the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative.

In his address, Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari discussed the evolving geopolitical landscape and the operational challenges it brings. He urged commanders to adopt a forward-thinking mindset, integrate advanced technologies, and make the most of available resources. He also highlighted the importance of training to develop a versatile and highly skilled workforce.

The event concluded with Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari interacting with officers, airmen, civilians, and Defence Security Corps personnel, encouraging them to strive for professional excellence and contribute effectively towards capability enhancement.
