On Thursday, eight coaches of the Agartala-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Express derailed at Diblong station in Assam. This incident occurred at 4 PM in the Lumding-Bardarpur Hill section under the Lumding division.

Response and Safety Measures

Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported. Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, the Chief Public Relations Officer of Northeast Frontier Railway, confirmed that all passengers were safely evacuated. A separate train has been arranged to transport them to their destinations. Additionally, food and water have been provided to the passengers.
